 Mosquito Spraying

Neighbors, this year's assigned night of the week for adult mosquito control services is Wednesday.

The Maryland Department of Agriculture will conduct ultra low volume (ULV) spraying, which will begin after 7:30 p.m. and cease by 2:00 a.m. Please note that spraying will not necessarily occur every week nor at the same time each week.

Services will beginning on June 1st and continue through September.

The spray routes have been completely reorganized for 2011 and may require additional time for the technician to become familiarized with the changes.

Physical surveillance of adult mosquitoes in communities with a history of moderate to high mosquito populations will be conducted weekly; communities with a history of low mosquito populations may be monitored less frequently. Spraying takes place when the density of mosquitoes reaches a standard threshold and weather conditions are conducive to successful mosquito control.

Please contact Dave Delia (ddelia@comcast.net / 410-268-8622) if you have any questions.
